We make every effort to keep the cost of care down. To assist this effort, you are expected to pay in full after each session. Payment is accepted by credit card, credit debit, and cash payments.
If you have a valid referral from their GP, psychiatrist, or paediatrician then you will be able to claim a Medicare rebate of $89.65 per session for a maximum of 10 sessions per calendar year.
It is the client’s responsibility to disclose how many sessions have been used under a Mental Health Care Plan. If the client has used more than 10 sessions under a Mental Health Care Plan, the client is responsible for payment of the additional sessions and will not be entitled to a Medicare rebate.
Private Health fund rebates are also available. It is recommended that you check with your health fund prior to your first visit.
Two payment options for a 50-minute consultation are offered:
Full fee rate: For clients who have a valid Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, or a referral from a psychiatrist, and do not have a valid health care card, the cost of a 50-minute consultation is $195 (out of pocket expense is therefore $105.35 with a Mental Health Care Plan).
Concession rate: For clients who have a valid referral from their GP along with a Mental Health Care Plan and a valid Low Income Health Care Card are welcome to discuss this with your clinician for a small fee reduction.
Cancellation Policy
A minimum of 24-hours notice of cancellation is required to avoid a late cancellation fee. It is the patient’s responsibility to remember the appointment. Reminder text messages are sent as a courtesy to clients about their upcoming appointments. If you are unable to provide 24 hours advanced notice you may be charged at $110.00 fee. This fee may be waived in exceptional circumstances.
